LUCK OF THE DRAW

north-of-reality:

Six men sat down to play Russian roulette, and by the end of their game, seven of them were alive.

“I’ve seen this happen before,” the new player spoke. “Whoever loaded your gun cheated. Must’ve used a negative bullet.”

One of them raised an eyebrow. “Who the hell are you? And what the hell is a negative bullet?“

“Think about what a bullet does to someone, then think about what the opposite of that would be. Sure, it ruins the whole game, but I’m not complaining. Last time I played, I lost everything.”

Every game, no matter how well-known, has hidden rules.
